Recipe Pastel al Caldero
|
Ingredients:
1 pound pork cubes
2 medium potatoes cut into cubes
6 grated green plantains
8 cup of Water
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Envelopes chicken powder(cubito de pollo)
olives
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Envelopes Sazon Goya
4 garlic mashed
1 Tbsp cumin
Minced oregano
2 Tbsp salt |
Procedure:
In medium-high oil, sauté onions and peppers. Add garlic, olives and chicken powder and sazon goya, cook a few minutes, add the meat and potatoes. Cook several minutes, add water, cumin, salt and boil for 15 minutes. Gradually take the banana and move several times so that no lumps are formed. Low heat to medium. Cover and cook for 20 more minutes until the dough is thoroughly cooked and acquires a dark color. Serve with rice and beans.
