Recipe Mofongu
|
Ingredients:
5 green bananas
6 slices turkey bacon, chopped into small pieces
1/2 red onion, chopped into small pieces
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped into small pieces
1/2 green pepper, chopped into small pieces
1 pound ground pork rind
1/2 pound ham chopped into pieces
chicken stock
Olive oil for frying plantains |
Procedure:
Heat the olive oil and fry the bananas without letting toasted. In a skillet cook the bacon (without adding oil), when toasted add the ham, onion, and peppers. Mash the bananas on a pilon and add them to the other ingredients, stir fry for a few minutes, then add the chicken stock slowly until moist. Serve it fast. If you must wait conserve a little broth and add it when ready to serve.Enjoy!!!
It buenisimo to accompany the piglet , chicken or turkey.
